Tim–
I don’t do facebook, so I need to respond the old fashion way by email. Your story on Taylor is absolutely beautiful. What a tribute from a good friend. The picture of Taylor on top of the wall reminds us of the sacrifices Taylor and others have made for all of us.
Your photos tell a very good story.
Uncle Sam's Saloon & Restaurant would like to extend a invite to Taylor to come to McGregor, IA and we will put him up at our hotel and dinner is on us too. God bless him!
Tim, it was great coming upon your website. I didn't know you had finally found your "niche" and after looking at the pictures on your website, I'd say you are definitely doing what God had planned for you. Congrats on your business and best of luck with it.
God Bless You! And a blessing gies out to all the troops that have, and still are protecting us from the pigs our enemies are! We all get caught up in day to day life not thinking about the men and women that gives us those days. You are America's Angels here on earth. God Bless You.
Your link at the bottom of this page, (http://timdoddphotography.com/blog/have-you-seen-my-friend-taylor-walk) to Taylor's page is broken. I learned of this legend of a man and inspiration as a human being from http://thechive.com. (I only link as they featured you.) You've done wonderful photos of everyone involved. Words cannot describe the shear fortitude of Taylor's spirit.
Hi Tim, I traced a Chinese Weibo post of Taylor's story to your website, the stories you recorded for him is just so touching I couldn't stop crying. I don't know what to say but to wish both you and Taylor the best of the best!
Love and Support, from Sydney Australia.
There are no words to express how much love I felt when I saw this story. I would love to invite you guys the the beach in Gulf Shores Ala. have some seafood and chill at the beautiful white sugar sand beaches. My home is humble but you would have plenty of room. thank you for protect this land. God bless America.
I just came across your blog and the photographs of Danielle and Taylor. As a long time professional photographer, I found your images so very powerful. I know that a lot of you is in each and every one of them. Thank you so very much for sharing them. I wish Daniele and Taylor blue skies and tailwinds as they journey together now and in the future.
Tim…not only are you an awesome photographer but you are magnificent writer as well. BUT…most importantly, you are an indispensable friend! I sure hope you plan on posting more about Taylor and Danielle! My kids have fallen in love with both of them, as I have. My 15 yr old daughter cried to see how Danielle stood up to the task at hand. "That's the kind of woman I want to be!" Thank you for putting this story out there so we can all draw strength from their story. May God bless you, Tim, for your heart; Taylor and Danielle for being just who He created them to be! <3
I am going to be doing an event in April where I will be honoring wounded warriors and I would love to share this story or even if we could get him here to have him honored in person https://www.facebook.com/AppreciationForEverythingMilitary.
Pulitzer. No less. You are a not just a witness for these people and their ability to overcome adversity, but are brave enough to follow and make us aware.
Make no mistake in the seriousness of my remarks. While your humility to being so close to these two shows this is a passion of love in documenting it; it's that humble spirit and candidness you display in capturing all of it that makes me utter such a deep proposal of award.
Hi Tim, Truly amazing work. When I saw the story, it received 365K Likes. Be neat to also link the Likes as Votes that goes to your congressional representative– another reason why we should end the war.
Your pictures are priceless, they are a true reminder of how fragile life is. I'm not an emotional person but seeing that photo of Taylor hugging his grandfather made me choke and I had to make every effort of holding back my tears. It was just too powerful! The very best to Taylor and Danielle, their families and friends. GOD BLESS! Nicholas de Groot, GUYANA, South America.
I'm a war veteran with a wife who is blind and a double amputee and your story about your friend is very touching too us, cause it let us know there are other people who are overcoming adversity to show people that god is real.
Hi, your Taylor story is inspirational. I work for an English language school in London and I'd like to use your photos of Taylor to make the basis of a lesson plan for my students where we will talk about love, commitment, war, disaster, disability, triumph etc. Could I have your permission to use the photos in this way?
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.
Tim…thank you so much for leading us through Taylor and Danielle's journey. You have an amazing eye and love for the camera. It is truly touching to see their love captured through the ultimate thick and thin of life. You are an amazing friend and a gifted photographer! And I especially love the black & white pics….so touching!
Tim: This is awesome work and an awesome story. Thank you for sharing this with the world. I hope to use your pictures in a lesson I am going to teach on narrative writing (I'll have the students attempt to put in words the story that your pictures tell). I know that my students will be as moved as I am.
I know of the Decorah Eagles in Iowa I watched them on u stream earlier this year.
The eagle is a fitting symbol for your country Taylor and Danielle epitomises the strength and endurance , fightinng hand in hand against all the odds. God Bless you all perhaps the wedding bells will be ringing for Taylor and Danielle 2013 xx.
Tim, do you have any trips coming up? I would love to send my mother-in-law who is looking to do something like this. On a separate note, I saw you at the Unstoppable event. I have no ties to Taylor and Danielle except that I've been following their story since the 22 pictures came out. I decided to help Cindy with the auction and drove to the event from WI with my best friend who flew in from NC. Taylor is, as you said, an inspiration. I also don't know if I've ever met someone so inspiring. I hope I have another chance to help him and Danielle in some way.
Taylor, Kudos to you my brother man. Like you I struggle everyday despite my injurys. I am a former Line Medic having served in the 101st Airborne and 173d Airborne as a Line Medic, so I have a hint of what you live with.I am also a retired Detroit Fighter. Perhaps you may not be able to relate to the aforementioned but I salute you for your drive and courage as a former member of THE BIG BOYS ClUB.

please send my heartfelt thanks to Taylor for his service and sacrifice, and to Danielle for being a woman that all women can be proud of. Thank you both. These are the people who deserve all the top line medical coverage afforded to and wasted on the US Congress….
I have signed up for the class you are teaching, but have not received any information regarding the class and time we will be meeting. Could you please email me all necessary information. Thanks!
